Young Vincents Summer Fine Art Camp goes virtual!

Creative Color Art Studios is bringing Summer Fine Art Camp to the comfort of your home! We are offering virtual camps starting June – August for those families who are staying home this summer. Your favorite art instructors will bring the joy of art and inspiration directly to children in these live interactive camps.

 

Half day and full day options are available for Virtual Summer Fine Art Camp to provide fun and art education all in one! These virtual classes include creative and exciting art projects for all of our budding artists while fostering their artistic spirit. Children will learn drawing skills, painting techniques, and more!

 

AM, PM, and ALL DAY camps will focus on different art mediums including drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture. Weekly themes will follow our in-studio schedule, so get ready for some of our most-loved, crazy, and fun projects yet! 

 

ART KITS may be purchased upon registration with curbside pick-up available at our studio in Scottsdale.

 

AM sessions are available for ages 6-13, PM and ALL DAY sessions for ages 9-13.

  • Amazing Instruction for the Virtual Classes.

    My 9 yr old is learning so many skills. This is a fantastic experience we never expected. We were lost for summer programs during this pandemic and this has been a favorite for the last couple of years. Adding virtual classes and extremely stringent and safe in -person classes has been a blessing. The virtual class is nothing like watching videos to create art, the teachers are engaging, answer so many questions, keep each child engaged and they have a great setup so the kids can see each part and follow. SKETCHBOOK & SUPPLY KITS FOR PICK-UP

Add-on options available to purchase art kits additional art supplies. Kits are safely packed and ready for curbside pick-up at the Studio. Take home art kits include supplies for one 4-day AM, PM, or ALL DAY session.

Sketchbook must be purchased separately. Option to purchase during registration.

CURRICULUM

AM Sessions: Students develop art skills through the foundation of drawing, watercolor painting and mixed media painting. Children build self- confidence while learning the art of contour, gesture, proportion and perspective.

 

PM Sessions: Children naturally connect to their spirit of exploration when scooping up acrylic paint with a brush! Their journey is exciting as they learn about color, design and composition. Invaluable techniques teach children to express emotion, atmosphere, texture and movement. Kids will explore their creativity and learn various hand building methods to create unique sculpture.

 

ALL DAY Sessions: Curriculum from AM and PM sessions

VIRTUAL CLASS SETUP

These sessions will be hosted virtually through Zoom, registrants will receive detailed setup instructions and invitation link in follow-up emails. 

If you experience technical issues during the live class or are unable to attend, a recording of the class will be available for 2 days following the session and must be requested by email. All virtual class registrations are non-refundable or transferable.

FAQS

Can my child participate in multiple sessions?

Yes, all new projects are introduced weekly. Multiple weeks provide an opportunity for skill building and creative development.

Does we need another art kit if we register for multiple sessions?

Extra art supplies may be purchased when registering for more than one virtual art camp session (no need to purchase a 2nd art kit). Each AM session will require an additional 5 sheets of watercolor paper. Each PM session will require additional canvas boards (8”x10” & 11”x14”) and clay. Paint from 1 art kit should last 2-3 sessions.

Can my 6-8 year old join the PM or ALL DAY sessions?

The projects planned for PM / ALL DAY sessions are challenging and the materials will stain. Therefore a younger student (6-8 y/o) may require continual supervision in the afternoon. Additionally, more focus is required on the afternoon projects and we don’t want our budding artist to get discouraged.

If you have the time and would like to help your 6-8 year old with these afternoon projects, feel free to sign them up and purchase the art kit containing all the needed supplies. Let us know in the notes section of your registration form if this is your plan.
