Awaken your child’s imagination and creativity in our Young Vincents after school program! Your child will gain both confidence and an understanding of the visual arts while building painting, drawing and mixed-media skills. Weekly classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the school year. Sessions are challenging and exciting for ages 6-12, including teen classes.
Through guided, hands-on art projects, students develop an eye for color, composition and design. While mastering the fundamentals, they also learn lifelong habits regarding technique, material use and art appreciation. Throughout the year, we explore a variety of artistic realms, such as still life, animals, people, landscapes, and abstract concepts. Young Vincents take home an amazing portfolio of completed artwork which they are proud to sign, display, and share.

FAQS
What does my child need to bring?
Just a sketchbook! We provide all the other art supplies. Sketchbooks can be purchased upon registration for $15.
How does my child make up a missed class?
Children will have the opportunity to make up projects on the Friday of the last week of the session, 4:00-5:15pm. Parents register online for this make up class on the website calendar.
What if my child can’t make it to a class?
Please notify the studio when your child will be absent by calling us at 480.478.8121 or contacting us via email. Please read our make up class procedures for in-studio classes.
Can my child do multiple sessions during the school year?
Yes! Our program is designed for children to continue throughout all four sessions during the school year. We work with each student to continue to build skills throughout the year.
Can my child join mid-session?
Possibly! Give us a call and check on availability for the current session.
